The Mom Fix| 3 Healthy Smoothies for Kids
Getting our children to eat healthy foods can sometimes be a
challenge, especially if you are dealing with a picky eater. Thankfully there
are ways that we can ensure our children are eating healthy and getting all the
necessary vitamins and nutrients. Today I’m sharing three of my favorite smoothie
recipes that both you and your kids will love!
1 .)
Blueberry Banana Smoothie

G R E D I E N T S
1 banana, peeled
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1 cup of almond milk
1 tablespoon of almond butter
1 teaspoon chia seeds
I normally make this in the morning and Roosevelt is a huge fan. It is definitely
a good smoothie to start your day, but you don’t have to limit it to breakfast;
it’s good any time!
2.)
Tropical Fruit Smoothie
I N
G R E D I E N T S
1 ½ cups frozen mango chunks
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen sweet pineapple
2 cups orange juice
1 cup vanilla yogurt
Perfect
snack and it is so yummy! Some fruits can be difficult for our little ones to
eat with their hands; those slippery mangos and pineapples can be a challenge! This
is the perfect solution to the fruits that give us butterfingers!
3.)
Peachy Kale Smoothie
I N
G R E D I E N T S
1 cup kale, chopped
1 cup frozen peach slices
½ banana, chopped
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup almond milk
1-2 teaspoons honey
Sometimes
it can be hard to get the little ones to eat their greens and even us adults
don’t always want the leafy greens, so what better way than to mix them into a
tasty smoothie.
Let
me know if you try one of these awesome smoothies, you won’t regret it, they
are delicious!
